By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 12, 2020 No. 480, anyone arriving to Ukraine will be required to present medical insurance policy that covers COVID-19 treatment expenses.
Insurance covering coronavirus treatment for foreigners visiting Ukraine
This insurance policy must cover costs related to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) treatment and entire duration of stay in Ukraine. Insurance policy should be presented at the border. It is prohibited to enter Ukraine without an insurance policy.

Details about mandatory insurance with COVID-19 treatment coverage
for foreigners planning to visit Ukraine
Insurance policy must be issued by insurance company registered in Ukraine or foreign insurance company with representation in Ukraine.
It can be a company with valid partnership agreement with local insurance company (assistance).
All foreigners except those who have permanent residence permit in Ukraine must have valid insurance policy (certificate) for crossing the border of Ukraine. It is forbidden to enter Ukraine without active insurance policy covering covid-19 treatment expenses.
